Dates
Hacking will start from February 3rd at 10 AM ET to the 5th. Submit your project on Devpost by 10 AM ET on Feb 5th on Devpost.
Project and Submission Requirements
- We require all individuals or teams to submit a 2 minute or less demo video.
- Make your code available in some sort of public repository.
- Your code and video must remain public even after the event if you want to continue being eligible for prizes. If your repo and video are not public, we will select new winners.
- You must have completed all the registration steps on Devpost.
- We allow you to submit your project to other hackathons as long as the other hackathon also allows this.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection

Originality
Has this project been done before at hackathons in the past? How creative or innovative is their project in solving the problem at hand? -
Adherence to Theme
Does the hack adhere to solving or bringing awareness to an environmental issue? Does it implement that theme fully or just partially? -
Completion
Does the project work? Is it functioning? Did the team achieve everything they wanted, or is the project incomplete? -
Learning
Did the team (or individual) try to learn something new? What kind of projects have they worked on before? Have they tried something different? -
Design
Did the team (or individual) consider the user experience while developing their project? How well-designed is the interface? -
Technology
How technically impressive was the hack? Was the technical problem the team (or individual) tackled difficult? Did it use a particularly advanced technique? Did it use many different components?
